Pigmentation and birthmarks are considered to be skin abnormalities that appear at birth or at a young age. These discolorations may appear in different shapes and colors, and they are not limited to a single color.  The cure to this used to involve surgery that usually gave less-than-ideal results, however,  with the rise of laser treatments, they have proved to be an effective alternative to surgeries in curing skin discoloration, which includes birthmarks, freckles, tattoos, and skin pigmentation.
